Hi!

My name is Noyonika Bagchi. I hold a Master's degree in Economics and I am keen on fields like ESG and development policy. I currently work in the analytics field, and can see a clear link in my field of work and policy research 

​

I write regularly on Medium (link at top right - the hyperlink symbol) on these topics. I wanted a space to write about policies, theories and books that I find interesting and voilà, newbieeconomics.com was born!

As a professor of mine during my undergrad would often say, we are all 'students of economics' hence my domain name 'newbieeconomics'. As for me, there's a whole world of discovery to be done and, along the way, I can hopefully share some of that with you!

I am also learning how to use data visualisation tools like Tableau so that I can deepen my understanding of sustainability. Quantitative discussions and posts talking about this will also come up.
